Welcome to Boba Tavern

Hi! I'm Gianna, the owner of Boba Tavern.

I was born in Taiwan and grew up in Southern California, where some of my favorite memories were grabbing boba with friends. A boba run was an excuse to get together and create memories. After moving to the Bay Area, I dreamed of opening a place that served great drinks while bringing people together.

Before opening Boba Tavern, I worked as an occupational therapist helping older adults regain independence and improve their quality of life. Caring for others and creating meaningful connections has always been at the heart of what I do, and that same spirit is what I hope you'll feel when you visit our tavern. When I'm not at the shop, I'm usually spending time with my husband and our two young daughters, who have already become Boba Tavern's biggest little fans!

Right next door is The Game Fortress, owned by my brother-in-law and my husband. Together, we wanted to create a place where you can gather over great games and great drinks.
